Ergocycle
Ergocycle
Introduction
The cycle ergometer developed by Phyling is a scientific measuring device specifically designed for studying neuromuscular function and for the retraining of patients with chronic diseases. It combines the features of a motorized, instrumented exercise bike, making it possible to analyze force and power production capacities as a function of cadence, while controlling the torque, angular velocity and power exerted by the subject.

Main features
The cycle ergometer offers a set of technical features that make it a high-performance and versatile tool for research. Key features include:
- Precise control of the torque, angular velocity and power exerted by the subject on the crankset.
- Real-time measurement of force, power, rotation speed and other derived variables.
- Integrated servomotor that generates a braking torque simulating the inertia of a virtual flywheel as well as pneumatic and aerodynamic friction.
- Ability to dynamically adjust the constraints applied to the crankset according to the specific needs of the study or training.
- User-friendly and intuitive Phyling application interface for easy use and precise control of the device from a PC or tablet.
- Data recording and storage for later analysis.
